WA:Car crash closes emergency department
A car's crashed into the emergency department of Rockingham Hospital in Perth's south,
forcing the evacuation of patients and staff.
Police say the car ploughed through the department's doors at around 6am (WST) today,
bursting a water main and causing it to flood the area.
No one has been injured but everyone has been evacuated from the emergency department.
A man's been taken into custody for questioning.
People needing emergency treatment have been urged to go to Fremantle Hospital, Mandurah
Hospital or their local doctor.
